Begin your Little Lagoon Septic to Sewer Program application

Step 1

Determine if you qualify. DO I QUALIFY?

Complete the only application. Apply HERE

Step 3

Receive a pre-approval letter.

Step 4

Execute a written agreement with the City of Gulf Shores. An agreement signed by the City is required before work can begin. Owners WILL BE INELIBIBLE if work is started or completed prior to receipt of a fully executed agreement.

Step 5

Select a licensed pumping contractor or company to complete the work. The contractor must be licensed through the City of Gulf Shores, and the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board must approve the pumping contractor.

Step 6

Obtain the required permit from the City of Gulf Shores Building Department or work with a selected licensed contractor or company to secure the permit.  

With the permit in hand, you can then complete the work.

Step 7

Complete all work and close out permit within six (6) months of receiving the pre-approval letter.

Step 8

Submit all receipts and closed-out permit along with an application for payment to [email protected].

Step 9

Receive your reimbursement.
